Hey you, I am so happy you are here! Welcome to The Homemaker’s Club! My husband, Brian, and I live in Upstate Idaho where we have three children and live in a quaint little 106 year old cottage just off Main St. in a “back in the good ‘ol days” kind of small town. I have been able to be a full time homemaker for 17 years and am grateful to be able to be home alongside my family as we run this beautiful ministry we lovingly call, “The Homemaker’s Club”. What started out as a longing of a club for someone else to start, the Lord called me into this ministry four years ago. With no plan or even idea of what I was doing, I obliged by downloading “le gram” took a deep breath and made my first post that simply said, “This is The Homemaker’s Club, you can sit with us.” Four years later, we are honored to host hundreds of thousands of women worldwide as we gather around the kitchen table and share the joys and hardships of homemaking on our beloved podcast, hold hands with over 150k women in our social club on IG/FB, and I am so delighted to share that our app is now available! We will be providing fellowship and education for women who desire to place priority in their marriages, children, and homes… just as we are called to do (Titus 2:3-5). Friend, I am delighted you are here, welcome!!! I pray that you find friendship, encouragement, and provision here so that you can joyfully make your home beautiful, productive, and fruitful. This is The Homemaker’s Club, you can sit with us.

Xo, Ashley

Hi, I'm Brooke! I've spent most of my homemaking life as a working momma until recently resigning from a career in school counseling. Now I'm blessed to be a part of The Homemaker's Club team. When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two teenage children, and our ten chickens and longhaired kitty, Kit. I love reading, taking walks, thrifting/antiquing, fashion, interior design, gardening, and dining out {or in --as long as someone else is cooking}. As a family we love our church, day trips to neighboring small towns, farmer's markets, back roads, small local hikes, and watching movies together.

Welcome, Homemaker! So happy to be a part of this sisterhood with you!

Hello! I am a homemaker and homeschool mama to our five children. We live on family farmland in the beautiful state of North Carolina. The sacred calling I have as homemaker, teacher, and artist brings me immense joy and I have loved seeing how it changes with each seasons of life. A few things I love are: thrifting, cooking, and photography. Our family enjoys day trips, church fellowship, kitchen dancing, working with our hands, fixing up old cars, garden growing, and raising animals. I am so excited to pour my heart into this club with you all. God is richly blessing the space here and I will continue to believe that the best is yet to come!

Katharine McDowell, Librarian

Hello friend! I am the resident “librarian” for our dear Homemaker’s Club! Alongside Ashley, I will be hosting our Homemaker’s Literary Society, and curating resources that foster the tenets of fellowship and education that our club stands for. I was blessed to have been raised as the oldest of three daughters on a small horse ranch in central California. I married my college sweetheart, Micah, after graduating university with a degree in English Literature, and proceeded to work in libraries up until last year, where I left my position as our small town’s librarian in order to stay home with our two boys, James (3) and Thomas (1). I adore the “living books” philosophy of Charlotte Mason and her ilk, and believe wholeheartedly that we are never meant to stop learning. I have what I call “busy hands”, and am always working on some project (or three), typically within the realms of seasonal cooking, gardening, home design, or sewing. I have a laundry list of passions- David Austin roses, antique china, copper cookware, children’s and domestic literature (think Tasha Tudor, Louisa May Alcott, Jane Austen, etc), and celebrating liturgical holidays through traditional foods, song and stories, to name a few. I aspire to be an artist of the everyday, and it fills my cup to make home a beautiful and inviting place to be. I am so glad that you are here, and grateful for the opportunity to draw alongside such a likeminded group of women in elevating the voice and value of home! Welcome to the sisterhood, friend!
